Nikhil Mahamuni performs as a versatile Indian music director, composer and singer.

He mostly composes musical melodies for Marathi and Hindi movies, theatre and television. His singing skills excel in Marathi, Hindi, Prakrit and Sanskrit languages.

Even he is always engaged with his music practices, Nikhil makes time to share his harmonious knowledge with others through conducting the workshops and lectures in many institutions.
He wants to make good music reach a multitude of ears and hearts. And for that reason, he organizes as many music events with a variety of songs as possible all over India.

His musical contributions are highly recognized and praised, and prestigiously awarded for all these years.

PROFESSIONALLY MUSICAL

The age 15 started staging Nikhil's musical journey. Nikhil began performing on stage.
In the early stage of his career, he also accompanied well-known singers on percussion and synthesizer in their live events.
The numbers never impeded him from creating music. His talent excels in producing beautiful music from a variety of instruments. Nikhil is acknowledged for his mastery on vocals and melody creations.

  • Music direction for devotional album 'Bol Sai Bol'
  • Music direction for various corporate ads, stage plays, albums and anthems
  • Composed and sung 'Garbha Sanskar' album in Prakrit language

  • Active member of Panel of Judges in many musical events and competitions

BEFORE PROFESSION

Nikhil's father Shri. Padmakar Mahamuni is his first Guru in Music. Nikhil's classical music and music arrangement education began under the great guidance of Late Pt. Aravind Gajendragadkar - the legendary flute player, and Enoch Daniel - the famous Indian cine music arranger.

Nikhil is honoured with Merit in Piano from Trinity School of Music, London. He has completed his Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
